High-quality data is crucial for building accurate and reliable AI systems.
Vurvey Labs offers a safe, secure, and scalable solution for sourcing quality data that is not available on the Internet or in your documents. We call these data-sourcing projects 'Campaigns', and they are a key component of Vurvey Labs’ AI Powered by People platform.
This document explains how Campaigns and Credits work.
What’s a Campaign?
A Campaign is a “video survey” inside of the Vurvey Labs’ platform.
Teams use Campaigns to collect first-party data directly into the platform to inform research objectives and build data pipelines to train AI agents. This may include collecting responses about unmet consumer needs, changing behavior shifts, and 360º brand feedback.
Campaigns include an introduction (i.e., objectives, time to complete, and reward incentive), a series of choreographed questions, and any stimulus for gathering feedback. Once a Campaign is published, it can be shared with your audience.
Vurvey Global Audience
Vurvey Labs offers an end-to-end service to share Campaigns with specific audiences in our Global Audience network. The network includes a dynamic mix of over 3 million consumers, B2B experts, and micro communities from around the world.
Access to the network is managed through Credits.
What’s a Credit?
Credits are used to pay for Campaign completions from our Global Audience network.
1 Credit = 1 Campaign completion
This includes up to 20 minutes of a consumer's time to complete a video survey campaign.
As an example, sending a 12-15 question Campaign (which may take 18 minutes to complete) to 25 consumers to gather their opinions on a new product and its claims would use 25 credits.
For campaigns that are lengthy (e.g., more than 20 minutes), require travel (or) purchasing items, have niche recruiting criteria, or require translation services, multiple credits may be necessary. This will be communicated before sharing the campaign and using credits.
What’s Included in a Credit?
Credits include the following services delivered by the Vurvey Labs team:
Campaign Screener - We will develop a screener that includes qualifying questions to identify the right target audience for your campaign. We require at least 10 consumers per screener launched. Those who qualify will be shared a private link to complete your campaign.
Campaign Management - We will work directly with consumers, troubleshoot any issues, and drive completions. Responses will be reviewed by our team to ensure they meet quality standards. For responses that don’t meet our standards, we may replace consumers with alternates who also qualified. Our goal is to deliver quality responses and insights.
Reward - We will pay consumers an incentive for their time and insights. This is included in the credit costs already.
Credits are tracked by Vurvey Labs team members through a Campaign Management credit dashboard. Details on that dashboard are below in the section on how to track credits usage.
How Can I Buy Credits?
Credits can be purchased anytime during the Subscription term through a Statement of Work (SOW). Please contact your Vurvey account lead for pricing on Credit Packs as well as volume discount information.
When Do I Need Credits?
You only need credits when collecting Campaign responses from our Global Audience network.
This service has been designed with multiple safeguards that ensure verified responses including:
Secure profiles with contact details (email, phone, payment, etc.)
IP Address with geolocation
On-camera visual identification
Historical ratings and Screener consistency checks
90-day work email verification (B2B)
Consent and customized NDAs
How Do I Track My Credits Usage?
Under the Campaigns section of your workspace, you will see your live Credit balance at the top of that page for easy access of up to the minute balance.
We have also added a full Credits Dashboard to the Usage section of the Campaigns page. You can access this by clicking the Usage button at the top of the page.
Once there, you will see a few different sections in the Dashboard for Credits. The first is the overall Credit Usage which shows Current Balance as well as Credits Used.
Below that is the Date Filtering capability to narrow your view on any timeline you desire to see. This populates the line chart below which shows transaction data plotted over time to easily see increases and decreases over time. In the image below, you can see that by hovering over a plotted point on the dashboard, the details of that transaction will pop up for you.
Finally, at the bottom is a full transaction ledger, where you can easily identify Projects and see exactly how many Credits were used for those and when it happened, as well as who authorized them.
Can I Use My Own Audience?
Yes. Campaigns include a unique URL, QR code, and email invitation to make sharing with your network a breeze. These responses are included as part of your subscription fee and do not use Credits. You can directly integrate your Vurvey workspace with Tremendous using our API to help you manage your own rewards program and compensate your audience.
