What types of questions can you ask with Vurvey?
We are going to go through each of the questions so you know how to best utilize the different types of questions available to you.
1. Video
The primary question contains only a video response from the community member
2. Multiple Choice
The primary question contains multiple choices that a community member can select from (member can choose only one option)
3. Multiselect
The primary question contains multiple choices that a community member can select from (member can choose more than one option)
4. Ranking
The primary question contains multiple options that they can rank
5. Star Ranking
The primary question asks a community member to rate something with stars, out of 5.
6. Opinion Slider
The primary question asks the community member to choose where they fall along a line of opinion, choosing a numerical representation of where they land, from 1 to whatever number you choose. You can label the left and right, making it easy for someone to see where they land.
7. Short Text
The primary question asks the member to respond to the question in short form text, meaning there won’t be the ability to type a very long paragraph in response, it will only be short form text. NOTE: You will not see the text box for response in the campaign builder. Click the Preview button in the bottom left corner if you want to double check the text box will appear!
8. Long Text
The primary question asks the member to respond to the question in long form text, meaning they will be able to type a lengthier response to your question. NOTE: You will not see the text box for response in the campaign builder. Click the Preview button in the bottom left corner if you want to double check the text box will appear!
9. Number
The primary question asks the member to respond in numbers ONLY. NOTE: You will not see the text box for response in the campaign builder. Click the Preview button in the bottom left corner if you want to double check the text box will appear!
10. Image Upload
The primary question asks the community member to respond by uploading an image. You can also allow for multiple uploads (Max 3 uploads).
11. PDF Upload
The primary question asks the community member to respond by uploading a PDF. NOTE: You will not see the box for response in the campaign builder. Click the Preview button in the bottom left corner if you want to double check the box will appear!
12. Video Upload
The primary question asks the community member to respond by uploading a video. NOTE: You will not see the box for response in the campaign builder. Click the Preview button in the bottom left corner if you want to double check the box will appear!
After selecting the type of question you want to ask and filled out the question contents, there’s one more question to ask yourself.
Do I want a video follow up to this question to get even better feedback?
With most question types you have the option to add a video follow up question. The toggle to enable this will be below the primary question’s contents.
Once toggled, you’ll need to enter a secondary question for members to respond to and choose how long the maximum length is for their response. There are 5 different options depending on the length of response you are looking to gather!
