How do I know if my campaign invites were sent?

When launching a campaign, we want to be sure that the notifications and invites were actually sent out. Vurvey allows you to see this on the Launch tab. After clicking "Save and Notify" to send invites, refresh your screen and you will see the list of creators that you have invited. To the right, you will see the status of their invites ("No Email Sent" or a date and time)

Sometimes, you just need to wait 15-30 seconds and refresh again as the status is updated in real-time with our servers when the emails are sent. If you are sending out to hundreds or thousands of people, it may take up to a few minutes to update.

The reason you may be seeing some emails showing sent and others not is that we stagger invites based on the cap on completes you set in the Review tab. So if you have the campaign capped at 25 completes but send the campaign to 600 people, the system will send invites to 150% of the capped complete number, in this case, 38, then wait 30 minutes, then read the total available completes and send out to 140% of remaining open slots, so on and so forth every thirty minutes.

The purpose of this is twofold:

  1. We are trying to avoid people getting invited to campaigns and then they log in to respond an hour later and it shows closed because it filled up. This results in a poor experience for creators with your brand and we always want to avoid any negative emotion tied to your brand engagement with consumers.

  2. Before implementing this improvement, we measured a significant decrease in the quality of responses due to the hurried and rushed nature of consumers feeling that in order to participate, they had to go fast. This was motivating people to respond as quickly as possible and the quality of the responses was degraded. Given the quality of the responses and data is paramount to achieving your goals on Vurvey, we instituted this mechanism and have seen quality and engagement increase as a result.
